Quiet limestone courtyard with a mature tree and a narrow reflecting channel

HEDI was conceived for matters that do not respect professional silos. Our work begins where legal form, tax treatment, governance, controls and personal interests meet.

We do not add complexity to demonstrate expertise. We make complexity legible: what is known, what remains uncertain, who has authority to decide and what must happen next.

A practical definition of integrated advice

Integration is not the presence of several specialists on the same email. It is a shared understanding of the client’s objective, one map of the dependencies and a clear method for resolving conflicts between workstreams.

For each matter, the team should be able to answer four questions:

  1. What decision is the client preparing to make?
  2. Which facts and assumptions materially affect that decision?
  3. Which legal, tax or compliance issues change the available options?
  4. What record should remain after the decision is implemented?

Our working principles

Start with purpose

The commercial or personal objective comes first. Structure only becomes useful when it supports that purpose and can be operated in practice.

Separate obligation from choice

Clients need to know which actions are mandatory, which are prudent and which depend on risk appetite. We make those distinctions explicit.

Make dependencies visible

We identify where one answer depends on another adviser, authority, document, valuation or internal approval so that uncertainty is managed rather than hidden.

Design the handoff

Advice should survive the meeting in which it is delivered. We close matters with a usable record of decisions, owners, conditions and follow-up dates.

Counsel for changing situations

Clients typically need integrated advice when ownership changes, a transaction accelerates, a control fails, a family prepares a transition or a new operating model crosses established legal and tax boundaries.

The common element is not the size of the matter. It is the consequence of getting the structure, authority or sequence wrong.

A measured way to begin

The first conversation is used to define the decision, the immediate risk and the information required to scope the work responsibly. If another discipline or jurisdiction is needed, that dependency is identified at the outset.
